She was born in Italy in 1991 and she started playing horn when she was 10 years old. She achieved Bachelor Degree of Horn at Conservatorio ‘G. Verdi’ of Como, and she studied with Prof. Joachim Pöltl at the Robert Schumann Hochschule of Düsseldorf within the Erasmus programme. On the 14th of July 2015 she received a Master’s Degree with honors at Conservatorio ‘G. Verdi’ of Turin, where she studied with M. Natalino Ricciardo. In 2016 she studied with M. Jean-Christophe Vervoitte at Conservatory of Boulogne – Billancourt in Paris. After his orchestral and academic studies, she went further in her studies of didactics and musical pedagogy at Conservatory of Turin with M. Orietta Mattio.
Thanks to her studies abroad, she learnt French (Level B2), English (Level B1) and German (Level A2).
ORCHESTRAL AND CHAMBER MUSIC EXPERIENCES
During the period of Bachelor’s study, she was a member of Italian Youth Orchestra and National Orchestra of Conservatory. She played with Orchestra Cherubini with M. Riccardo Muti and with the Academy Orchestra ‘La Scala’ of Milan. She was a member of Lucerne Festival Academy 2015 where she worked with M. Matthias Pintscher, M. Wolfgang Rhim, M. Pablo Heras – Casado, M. Julien Leroy, M. Mariano Chiacchiarini and Ensemble Intercontemporain. She played with Royal Theatre of Turin, with Toscanini’s Orchestra of Parma, with Chamber Ensemble ‘De Sono’ in Turin, Orchestra of Olimpic Theatre of Vicenza. She worked in orchestra with illustrious conductor as M. Pascal Rophé, M. Wayne Marshall, M. Donato Renzetti, M. Fabio Luisi, M. Nicola Luisotti, M. Gergely Madaras, M. Christoph Eschenbach and virtuous musicians as Shlomo Mintz, Natalia Gutman, Francesco Manara, Alexander Lonquich, Leon Spiere and Isabelle Faust.
She has worked with ‘Pentafiati’ Wind Quintet since 2014, taking part in many contests and winning the first prize for chamber music at International Competition of Stresa 2014. Her passion for the art of theatre encouraged her to follow a laboratory of Instrumental Theatre with the artist Moni Ovadia at School of Music Antonia Pozzi in Milan.
She won the YAMAHA MUSIC FOUNDATION OF EUROPE SCHOLARSHIP 2015 (ITALY) and the first prize ACCADEMIA CORALE “STEFANO TEMPIA” 2016 of Turin.
TEACHER OF MUSIC AND HORN
She is a music teacher in the National Middle school of Delebio (SO) and Dubino (SO) since 2017. She was horn teacher in many music school of her native Valtellina, as Talamona (SO) and Berbenno (SO). Now she teaches horn in the music school of Piantedo (SO) and Villatico of Colico (LC) and she is going to organize Horn Masterclass for people of different ages and levels.
