The French pianist Olivier Laville<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>(1988) is studying at the “Musikhochschule” in Freiburg with Eric Le Sage, and also at the CNSM Paris in the pedagogic program.<\/span><\/p>\n

He is also trained\u00a0<\/span>in chamber music by Paul Meyer and Eric Le Sage in Paris. He studied before at the \u201cHochschule f\u00fcr Musk\u201d in Cologne with<\/span>\u00a0Josef-Anton Scherrer and Arbo Valdma.<\/span><\/p>\n

He was previously trained by\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Romano Pallottini at the \u00ab\u00a0Conservatoire \u00e0 Rayonnement R\u00e9gional de Saint-Maur\u00a0\u00bb, where he obtained the \u00ab\u00a0Dipl\u00f4me Sup\u00e9rieur d\u2019Etudes Musicales\u201d (D.S.E.M) in 2009. He is a laureate of the Parisian society \u00ab\u00a0Les Amis de la Musique\u00a0\u00bb (2008).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Olivier started learning to play the piano at the age of four with Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Demoulin and won the San Sebastian International Piano Competition in 1999. He was still very young when he received his first lessons from Billy Eidi at the \u201cConservatoire \u00e0 Rayonnement R\u00e9gional\u201d in Paris, where he also received several \u201cPremiers Prix\u201d in Chamber Music and Harmony. During his advanced classes at the C.R.R in Saint-Maur-des-Foss\u00e9s he got the following awards: \u201cDipl\u00f4me d\u2019Etudes Musicales\u201d (D\u00a0.E\u00a0.M), First Prizes in chamber music, sight-reading, harmony. He obtained a First-Prize in piano performance with first class honors in June 2007. Two years later he was awarded the \u00ab\u00a0Prix de Perfectionnement\u00a0\u00bb and the \u00ab\u00a0Dipl\u00f4me Sup\u00e9rieur d\u2019Etudes Musicales (D.S.E.M)\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Olivier has performed several times as a soloist, a.o. in Haydn\u2019s D Minor Concert with the \u201cOrchestre de Saint-Maur\u201d (2008). Immediately after he arrived in Cologne, he was the one chosen to perform Mozart C Major Concerto KV467 with the Hochschule-Orchester at the Sadthalle in Wuppertal.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He played in masterclasses for Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Vassily Lobanov, Denis Pascal, Georg-Friedrich Schenck, Prisca Benoit, Kevin Robert Orr and Aleksandar Madzar. He was also trained by C\u00e9cile Hugonnard-Roche for the piano and the accompaniment; that is why he often play as accompanist for example at the Summer Academy of the cellist Claus Kanngiesser, teacher at the Musikhochschule in Cologne.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Olivier has been playing with the cellist Camille Seghers, who just obtained a Master Degree with the first honor at the Musikhochschule, for several years. They had coaching with Jan Vogler, Claus Kanngiesser, Antony Spiri, Edmond Baert, Didier Poskin, the Danel-Quartet and the Isarel Trio. They played several concerts in France, Belgium and Germany, being invited by the \u00ab\u00a0Festival Jeunes Talents\u201d in Paris, the Osterfestival in Bayreuth, the \u201cMusicales du Parc de Wesserling\u201d, Concertstudio in Kortrijk, \u201cFestival Jeunes Talents\u201d in Loudun, \u201c5 \u00e0 7 musical\u201d in Arradon\u2026<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Their duo got many positive reviews and tries to promote neglected repertoire, with a special interest for contemporary music.
