Marion Candy made her primary studies in Flute and Ballet at the CRR (Conservatoire \u00e0\u00a0Rayonnement R\u00e9gional) of Montpellier where she obtained a DEM (Dipl\u00f4me d\u2019\u00c9tudes\u00a0Musicales) unanimously with honors. She then chose to begin a professional career in music.<\/p>\n
She then studied with Celine Nessi at the CRR of Boulogne-Billancourt, where she also\u00a0graduated with honors.\u00a0She continued her advanced training under the direction of Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Chatoux (Soloist of the\u00a0Paris Opera). She was also coached by famous flutists such as J.Beaudiment, Ph. Pierlot and\u00a0Emmanuelle Oph\u00e8le. She studied piccolo with Pierre Dumail (Solo Piccolo of the Paris\u00a0Opera) and passed the DEM in 2014.<\/p>\n
Recipient of the Meyer Foundation Award in 2009, she performs as a chamber musician in\u00a0several musical ensembles right across France (Festival Paris Quartier d’\u00e9t\u00e9, salle Cortot,\u00a0Southern France…).\u00a0She’s a regular guest of the Orchestre National de Montpellier since 2003, and plays under the\u00a0direction of famous conductors such as L.Petitgirard, Maxime Pascal, J.Darlington\u2026<\/p>\n
Fond of different kinds of music, she worked on a wide range of projects, from musical\u00a0(Fiddler on the Roof at the Casino de Paris) to jazz, and shows combining music and other\u00a0artistic disciplines (Vie \u00e0 Huis Clos in 2007, Autour de Bilitis in 2009). From 2013 to 2014,\u00a0she worked on the musical tale Bastien dans la Lune that she performed nearly 70 times in the\u00a0Ile-de-France area theatres.<\/p>\n
While coaching by Sabrina Maaroufi, Marion passed the D.E. (Dipl\u00f4me d\u2019Etat) and attende
\nthe CNSMDP (National Conservatory of Music and Dance of Paris) from 2008 to 2011 to\u00a0prepare the C.A. for flute, which she passed in June 2011.<\/p>\n
Marion Candy is a teacher at the CRR of Boulogne-Billancourt and the CRI of Alfortville.\u00a0Appreciated for her teaching skills and personal qualities, she is a regular jury member\u00a0throughout France.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
