Dario Mandracchia

Defined by the famous serbian guitarist and composer , Dusan Bogdanovic,”… a great guitarist with an outstanding talent in the area of ​​contemporary music, for which he has an excellent ability of analysis and synthesis. an excellent sense of ensemble playing “, Dario Mandracchia (Palermo – Italy, 1985)  studied classical guitar, composition and musicology at the most important institutions in Italy – National Conservatory of Music in Milano – and Switzerland – High School of Music in Geneva. He  performed as a soloist as well with orchestras in Italy, France, Switzerland and Germany and  played with a lot of differents chamber music settings like with the ensemble of the music’s conservatory in Palermo, for the album Fantasia per ensemble on the music by Lèo Brouwer. Member of “Zellige Guitar Quartet” and Oscar Ghiglia’s former pupil  at Accademia Chigiana in Siena, he regularly performs with the company “Les Moutons Noirs” – Festival Off Avignon 2014-2015-2017, Anjou Festival 2016, Bipaf 2016 in South Korea and Komidi Festival 2018 at Ile de la Réunion. Since 2013 Dario Mandracchia made his home in Paris and he is head of the classical guitar department at  Conservatory of Music, Dance and Drama “Gaston Litaize” in  Montereau-Fault-Yonne, Ile-de-France.
