Olga Carboni

Olga Carboni was born in Kiev in Ukraine. She started to play the violin and the piano at the age of five. Graduated from the National Music Academy „P. I. Tschaikovsky“ in Kiev with Olga Rivniak, then at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” in Leipzig with Lothar Strauss (violin) and Phillip Moll (chamber music).

She participated in various festivals such as Lucerne, BBC Proms, Bolzano, Zermatt, Pablo Casals. Winner of several international competitions, member of Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, she had the opportunity to play with Claudio Abbado, Franz Welser-­Möst, Sir Colin Davis, Herbert Blomstedt, Antonio Pappano.

She worked with Göttinger Symphonie Orchester, Jenaer Philharmoniker, Orchestre National de Montpellier, Opéra de Marseille, Orchestre Régional de Cannes, Opéra de Toulon. Passionate about the chamber music, she performs regularly in Germany, France, Switzerland and Italy.
