Guitarist Michel Rolland has been invited in several festivals in France and abroad, as a soloist or a member of a chamber music formation, to play in concerts, to perform creations and to give Master classes (for instance the festival of Richnov in Czech Republic, Timisoara in Romania for the Intrada festival around contemporary music for guitar, then in the season of philharmony in duo with the piccolo solo player of the French National Orchestra, the Haute Provence musical meetings, the Lubin’s festival in Poland.and some concerts in China..) He regularly works in collaboration with contemporary artists (R. Dainobu, R. Lazkano, H. Surianu…) and is claimant of pieces for guitare.
He also collaborates with actors, performs in museums, and is interested in the art of guitar making as well as movement analysis in artistic performances.
Passionate about teaching, he is a certified professor at the music conservatories in Paris 6 and in Crd du Val de bievre
