Composer, musicologist, pianist and musical editor, Etienne Kippelen gets three price at Paris CNSMD (analysis, aesthetics and harmony) and a price at Lyons CNSMD (composition). Doctor of Music, he has taught since 2006 at the Aix-Marseille University . He is currently professor of analysis at the CRR of Paris and musical analysis and history at the CRD of Bobigny. Composer of about forty pieces for various vocal and instrumental training, he studied with musical personalities as eclectic as Régis Campo, Michel Merlet, Allain Gaussin and Philippe Hurel. His sextet Aksak gets two awards at the “Concours de composition Dutilleux” in 2012. His works are regularly created in various festivals : Eurochestries, Festival du Haut-Bugey, Moments musicaux de Chagny, Printemps Musical de Vaucluse, Festival Radio France à Montpellier , etc.
